I needed to replace the battery in my ~6 year old Macbook Pro in June 2021 (known manufacturing fault with the model). Mac1 quoted $900+ and 2 weeks turnaround, and another local authorised repairer offered ~$500. Apple Genius Bar would have just shipped my laptop off to one of these local repairers… So I did my research, and landed on The Electronic Fix. One or two disgruntled reviews, but most were very satisfied customers. I rang and they quoted $250 (basically the wholesale cost) and ordered the new battery straight away. Two days later I brought my Macbook in and the battery was replaced in about 20 mins flat, no fuss. No hidden fees, no mucking around.
John and Di are super knowledgable, friendly, down-to-earth, and matter of fact. Very happy with the result, no issues, everything is as good as new.
